About Lee Wolf

Lee Wolf is a bassist, composer, and educator currently based in Rochester, New York. After completing degrees in Jazz Studies and String Bass Performance at the University of North Florida, he relocated to Rochester, NY to study Jazz Writing at the Eastman School of Music with Bill Dobbins. His compositions and

arrangements have been performed by the Eastman Jazz Ensemble and Studio Orchestra, UNF Jazz Ensembles 1 and 2, and his own Lee Wolf Big Band.

 

Lee maintains an active career as a bassist, performing primarily jazz and classical music throughout Western New York and North Florida. Lee is currently pursuing his doctoral degree in Jazz Studies at the Eastman School of Music, where he also provides instruction in the Music Theory and Jazz & Contemporary Media departments.
